Our Story

Cliff Avenue Greenhouse was started back in 1972 when Richard "Dick" Bills found joy in not only growing a garden, but being able to sell his tomatoes to other gardeners out of his own driveway. From then on, Dick and his wife Jane expanded their business from its’ location on Riverside to Cliff Avenue, acquiring the name Cliff Avenue Greenhouse and Garden Center. Years later, they would expand again into two new garden centers located on both the East and West sides of Sioux Falls. Hayley and Heidi proceed their parents in carrying on the business in these two locations.
